Summertime Fun Beach Pawty!

On Sunday, July 6th, early in the morning, several pups began gathering at the beach to start pawtying the whole day long!
First to arrive were Maya and Kena, and a few minutes later was Toto. They were the only ones there fur a while. So Toto began barking out loud to wake up the others if they were sleeping.

Not long after came Tyler and Missy. But they weren't asleep. It just took them a while to get across the Atlantic Ocean. BOL!

Toto started serving drinks from the bar.



And that's when Kena took a.... Pawtini!!!



She chugged it down and soon after collapsed. So the other pups laid her down on a lounging chair.

The other pups still wouldn't show up, and Toto found these boys who were willing to help us out:



And those boys really did help!! After a few shouts from them, Dylan arrived, and not long after, Zoee showed up.

Toto hired a DJ to play some tunes that he and Tyler brought.



And then, as the pawty was finally getting some more pups, T-Bone came with some BBQ Chicken and Pup Colada. And Emma stopped by to let everydoggy know that she and Eleanor wouldn't be able to join the pawty because Emma had an awful stomach flu. So we all wished her a fast recovery. We hope you're much better now Emma!

More pups arrived!! Coco and Mr. Barney!!

Toto all of a sudden came up with a terrierific plan:

"Guys, come on here before Kena wakes up!
***Toto starts wishpering a plan***
Let's help Kena and wake her up. We'll all take her in our arms and put her in the water. Anyway she has her swimsuit on. Huh? What do ya say?"

Reba, Teddy, and Bonzer had arrived just in time fur the plan to take place!! BOL!

Maya had to leave fur a while, so before the plan was taken into action, Reba starting taking entries fur the Beach Blanket Bingo.



And as soon as Maya returned.. "Mission: Throw Kena in the water" begun.

The pups counted down... and then SPLASH!



BOL!! Kena woke up of course.. and she wasn't too happy! But luckily fur the other pups she had to go. BOL!

Bonzer had to leave fur a while too. And while he was gone, the other pups devised another plan to throw Bonzer in... wearing a speedo!!

And when Bonzer came back, Maya distracted Bonzer from Toto, who was planning the great "plan", by saying it was time to build sandcastles!!



And right when Bonzer was getting into the spirit of sandcastle-building, Toto counted 1... 2... 3... (the other pups rushed behind Bonzer).... and SPLASH!



Miss Molly arrived at the perfect time and distracted Bonzer when he was gonna get back at everyone who threw him in. Wheww!! Close one!



Then everyone ran over to the slide that Bonzer brought. Weeee!!!



That's where Bonzer found out that he had been videotaped when he was shopping fur waterslides. Maya must have been curious as to what slide he'd bring!

Then, Toto suggested everydoggy go seashell hunting, which was REALLY fun!!



Bonzer got so into collecting seashells, that in order to get as many different ones as he could, he secretly traded one of his with one of Reba's when she wasn't looking.

Reba was busy announcing the pup who won the drawing fur the Big Kahuna, and that was Rickie Roo!



But when she went back to her pile of seashells, she barked: "This isn't MY seashell!"

However, most of the other pups were howling: "All Hail Rickie Roo!"



Reba wouldn't give up though.

"Bonzie, that seashell you got looks an aweful lot like the one I found..."-Reba

"Well, isn't that a coincidence that my shell looks like the one you had Reba? *hee hee*"-Bonzer

"Gimme back my shell Bonzie! I'll cry"-Reba

***Toto went and wishpered to Reba***
"Bonzie changed his shell with yours, but don't tell him I told you"-Toto

"EVERYDOGGY! Gather at the port! We have a ride awaiting us..."-Kena

"OK Reba, here ya go Geez, grrrls cry about the smallest things *Bonzie mutters* "-Bonzer

*Dylan sneaks up and takes all bonzers shells,while his mom gets dishpan hands*
"here ya go reba!"-Dylan

"GUYS, KENA SAYS THAT WE SHOULD GO TO THE PORT. A BIG SURPRISE IS WAITTING YOU ALL!"-Toto

"I don't wanna sit by Bonzer, I'm mad at him."-Reba

"BOL Dylan!! Oh no!! Our ride is leaving!! C'mon everydoggy! Quickly!! Jump on!!"-Kena
*everyone jumped on and the speed boat started*

"BOL Dylan!"-Zoee

"OMD!! What are Rickie Roo and Maya doing in the front of the boat!! *tries reaching for Rickie Roo's leg* I.. can't.... reach... them!!"-Kena

"waaaaaaaa weeeeeeeeeee"-Dylan

"A speedboat... WOW, THIS IS FUN............"-Zoee

"WooooHoooooooooooo! GrrrrrrrREAT ride!"-Dylan
*weaves over to Dylan and gives him a kiss on the cheek*

"Hey this fun!"-Miss Molly

"Big Kahuna up front!"-Reba

"C'mon Reba, I'll be good.....Congratulations to ya Ricky Roo! "-Bonzer

Just then, Winston and his family arrived at the beach, so Toto drove the speedboat back to the port and picked them up.

But when the boat was right next to the beach, Bonzer pushed Dylan off and buried him in the sand. Maya jumped off the boat and started digging fur Dylan.



Bonzer was in the joking mood that day, because right after Maya had finished helping Dylan out of the sand, Bonzer teased: "What's that Dylan? You say you want to be thrown in the water?"

Maya noticed where Bonzer was going and wanted to be part of the fun: "Bonzer.. I think I also heard that... what do you say?"

Meanwhile, most of the other pups where hanging out with Rickie Roo, who had brought Ice Cold Frosty Paws to enjoy! Reba even said: "Hail Rickie Roo the Big Kahuna! who bears gifts of Ice Cream!" And PJ Pupp had also brought along a frisbee to play with!

"I just heard Dylan say he wanted to be thrown in the water again so I say we oblige him!"-Bonzer

"So Bonzer... what color speedo where you thinking fur this next "plan"? Pink?"-Maya

"Pink polka dot bikini fur Dylan!"-Bonzer

"You o'kay Dylan? Bonzer why are you being such a beach bully?"-Reba

"Me?"-Bonzer

"Reba, Bonzie is never a bully...."-Zoee

"yay I`m ok." *shakes sand outta his ears*-Dylan

"You!! *points at Bonzer* maybe it's too much sun...."-Reba

"Ready Bonzer? 1....."-Maya

"2....."-Maya

"Ready!"-Bonzer

"3......"-Maya

"and throw Dylan in there!"-Maya



"that's mean...." *trying to hold laughter in*-Reba

"BOL! Aaaaaawwwww Dylan ...I must say, you look cute in pink.."-Zoee

*Maya runs up to Dylan* "That was an awesome dive Dylan!!
You know it's just a joke right? I mean... Kena and Bonzer had to go through the same thing. BOL!
We're still cool, right?"-Maya

*shakes water all over bonzer* "ya at least it wasnt deep"-Bonzer

*Maya runs to Dylan with towel* "Sorry if I hurt your feelings or anything... we're just playing with ya!"-Maya

"Dylan- you look mighty fetching in pink!" *Bonzie snickers*-Bonzer

Right at that time, Reba asked: "Are we ready to find out what we won on Beach Blanket Bingo?"

And so Reba revealed the Beach Blanket Bingo Squares with the prizes:





And as the day was coming to a close, Bonzer ran up to Reba and handed her a dogarita. "Here ya go Reba.... a nice dogarita fur you."

"Thank you Bonzie" *gives a kiss on the cheek*-Reba

"Those are great prizes Reba, thanks!"-Bonzer

"couldn't have done it without you Bonz"-Reba

"Aww..shucks Reba *Bonzie scuffs the sand with a paw* it was my pleasure"-Bonzer

"ya big lumox!" *tweeks bonzies ear*-Dylan

"I'll get you Dylan *Bonzie scratches out after Dylan sending sand flying*-Bonzer

At that time, everyone was sharing the prizes they got.

"Yay i got some tasty bones Thanks Reba!"-Teddy

"wow, I got a weener!!! yum"-Dylan

"Our family got some great bingo prizes!

Gigi got a hotdog,
Winston Got a ladybug
Rickie Roo got a rose
and I got a bone!"- PJpupp

And before everydoggy left to turn in fur the day, one last pic was taken. "Say ALOHA!"



The next day, some pups who weren't able to make it came over to the beach to play with the pups who were still there. They also got to eat all the leftovers! YUM!!!

Madison was one of the pups who went that day (the others were Toto, Zoee, Miss Molly Sadie, Emma, Gigi, and Tyler, but they all came at different times), and she and Maya relaxed on the beach.





It was such a great pawty!! But what made it special is being altogether as a group!

Valentine's Day Pawty

At Dogs UNLEASHED!, we celebrated Valentine's Day with a pawsome party. We had many doggies that signed up to come:

Lassie.

Everydoggy brought some food to share with everyone.





It all looked SO good, that we couldn't wait to eat, so as soon as everyone had settled down, we dug right in! Here's a picture before the dinner:



After dinner, we had a dance competition, and everydoggy danced and jumped pawsome!! But two of them just stood out, and they had to be rewarded. Emma and Butchy danced like superstars!!



And so they received a basket of goodies from Dogs UNLEASHED!



Time flew by with all the fun everydoggie was having. And at the end, everyone received goodie bags to remember the pawsome night they had.

~New Year's Celebration Party!!~

On December 31st, 2007, there was a New Year's celebration party at Dogs UNLEASHED! The doggies that attended this fun party were Maya, Kena, Snoopy, Rosie, Missy, Tyler, and Caffrey.

The party started out with a DELICIOUS dinner at one of the Dogs UNLEASHED! resorts. There, before everydoggy began diggin' in, we went around the table saying each doggy's resolution fur 2008.

Caffrey started out: "My New Year's Resolution is to meet lots more Dogster pups who live in the UK "

Then, it was Tyler's turn: "My New Years Resolution: To do alot more sunbathing then last year"

Maya: "My New Year's Resolution: To try to stop barking at big dogs."

Snoopy said: "New Years Goal: To get over 400 pallies on Dogster"

Missy said: "My New Years Resolution: To try and listen to mum more" , and then she blushed slightly.

Rosie said: "New Years Resolution: To stop growling at everydog that passes my way!"

Kena said: "Mine's kinda like Rosie's, my New Year's Resolution: To try to stop growling at my sister so much."



After the dinner, everydoggy just sat around and talked fur a while, taking it easy and relaxing after the filling meal. Then, the time everydoggy was waiting fur arrived; it was almost midnight!! All the doggies gathered round and smiled fur the camera as the clock stroke 12:00. The picture turned out great!!



Everydoggy barked and howled with joy at the start of a new year! Woohoo!!

Suddenly, loud noises were heard outside the window. Maya looked out and barked: "Fireworks!". No doggy really liked fireworks; they were way too loud! But they thought they would go out fur a little while...to experience the full New Year's celebration. They all went out and their mouths dropped open.



The fireworks were beautiful!!! All the doggies just sat there and gazed up at the sky. But after a few minutes, when they snapped back into the real world, their ears began hurting a little from all the racket. So they went inside.

"That was pawsome!!" exclaimed Rosie.

"Next time, maybe we can each bring earmuffs or something to block the sound out, and that way, we can look at the fireworks fur a longer time, taking in the beauty of them." suggested Caffrey.

Everyone agreed on doing just that fur the next party with fireworks.

Everydoggy soon started yawning, and nobody could blame them, they had stayed up VERY late. So the party came to an end... a happy end. All the doggies left with smiles on their faces and couldn't wait till the next get-together!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

Christmas Get-Together!

Hey pups!
On Christmas Eve, we had a pawsome reunion with all the pups who signed up to have a night to remember with Dogs UNLEASHED! The group consisted of Molly, Jake, Dylan, Missy, Tyler, Buster, Kena, and Maya.

The fun began at one of Dogs UNLEASHED!'s Resorts in a room that the group rented to have a delicious holiday dinner. Everyone looked FABULOUS!



After about an hour of dining on delicious foods and lots of socializing, it was time to depart to.......THE NORTH POLE!!! What better place to be on Christmas than where the holiday spirit is at it's maximum size! We took the North Pole Express and had a good time during the trip. In the train, everyone was singing Christmas carols and having a jolly time!



In about 1/2 an hour, we arrived at our destination. Of course, the train had used magic to get there (the magic was powered by the Christmas spirit aboard on the train, which meant that the more people that sang Christmas carols, or were nicer and kinder to each other, the faster we'd get there), otherwise it would have taken us more than a day!



The North Pole was amazing!!! The elves gave us a great tour of the place and how it all worked. We got to see the toy workshop, Mrs. Claus's kitchen (we even got to bake gingerbread houses), and the reindeer barn. After a while, they let us take a 1/2 hour break, in which we were free to go anywhere we wanted to. The boys went to go play a snowball fight, and Missy wanted to go check out the toy factory again, where she got to make her own chew toy!! Lucky! And meanwhile, Molly, Kena, and Maya, walked farther into the snow and saw the beautiful scenery. They went into a cave with beautiful icicles and they could see snowflakes flying into the cave from outside. They danced their happiness dance and admitted that this was going to be a Christmas to remember fur the rest of their lives!



After the break, we came back and the elf who was showing us around said it was time to meet someone very special. We had a feeling we knew who that person was. And sure enough, Santa Paws came out of his house to greet us all, spreading his paws out to hug us all. "Woof woof woof!! Merry Christmas!!!" he said to us. We got to go on a short sleigh ride since he was almost going to leave, and we got to see the whole North Pole! We could not have asked fur a better day!

Tyler's stay at Dogs UNLEASHED! Inn

Congratulations to Tyler, who won the Dogs UNLEASHED! Inn Holiday Getaway contest fur December 2007!
We managed to take some pics of him enjoying his stay!

Here he is taking the North Pole Express Air (which Dogs UNLEASHED! contacted so that it would be a holiday-themed flight) to one of the resorts in the North Pole.



And, as you can see, Tyler had a really comfortable flight!



As soon as he got to the resort, our doormen welcomed him into the lobby, which was VERY Christmassy! "The ornaments were just BEAUTIFUL!" commented Tyler.



And during his stay, he had lots of fun Christmas activities planned out fur his stay. One of them was making a snowman. And here he is posing for a picture with his marvelous work of art!



Well, that's all the pictures we took! But there was tons more he did, which included visiting Santa's workshop where they make all the toys, having some fun at a snowball fight, helping decorate Christmas trees in the lobby, and baking gingerbread treats! Hope you had fun Tyler!!

The Thanksgiving Feast went GREAT!

Thank you to all the doggies who joined us this Thanksgiving to celebrate! The party was a hit and everyone had so much fun!

The party was located in these BEAUTIFUL woods in a big yet cozy cabin. Maya and Kena were the first to arrive so that they could start setting up.



Not long after, Molly, Jake, and Dylan arrived with their special, homemade dressing.



All the administrators except Buster had arrived, so Molly called his cell phone.
"Hey Buster, are you almost here?" Molly asked.
"Yes, there was some traffic on the highway I took, but I'm almost there! Oh! And I saw a few of the party guests on their way, so get ready!" Buster answered.



A few minutes before the guests arrived, Fancy arrived. Fancy works at ~~~Fancypants Cafe~~~ on Dogster, and she was kind enough to help us with the dinner. She was going to cater fur us and she came up with the delicious choices of food. (You can see the menu at http://i230.photobucket.com/albums/ee17/mayaandkena/menu.jpg)



As soon as all the guests arrived, we sat down at the dinner table.
But before we began eating, Butchy and Snickers proposed we do something special first.
"Snickers and I have an idea," said Butchy.
"Before we devour into this DELICIOUS-looking meal, I say we go around the table and say what we are thankful for." proposed Snickers.



Everyone thought this was a great idea, so we went around the table saying thanks for something each one of us thought was special. Some doggies decided to say their thanks in their hearts, while some said it aloud.
"I am thankful fur all the good people in the world who are helping stop animal abuse!" said Kena.
"I'm thankful fur my home with a big wonderful family to pet and feed me." said Buster.
"I'm thankful fur all my doggie friends, my mommy cause she loves me lots, and my two big brothers." said Molly.
"I'm thankful fur my loving humans! They're the bestest!!" said Maya.
"I'm thankful for a little peace and quiet! That means.. no little sister bugging me." said Jake, and some doggies laughed.
"I'm thankful that my Mama & Papa & Snickers rescued me!" said Butchy.
"I'm thankful for my family .... and turkey!!! " said Dylan.
"I'm thankful for my mum who does her best for me and Missy" said Tyler.
"I'm thankful for all my Dogster friends" said Missy, and everyone smiled big grins.
"And I'm thankful for my mom who never lets her chronic illness or recently injured knee prevent her from taking the best care of me!" said Esperanza.



After the scrumptious meal, along with dessert, the fun began. First, there was a short dance, where everyone boogied like never before!



Then, there was a game of Pin the tail on the Turkey.



"I've never had so much fun before!!" said Kena.
Everyone agreed.
"Well, I hear there might be something similar for Christmas! I hope so!" said Maya.
The feast ended late at night, but that didn't matter, everyone had had the time of their lives!
